CCTV freaks need?
I have a camera with a wirerun about 150 m is the pciture encrypted / show lines. I have the x-cam connection of the former etc.. but not the cable (RG59) Network test shows shield is ok resistance is 75 ohms to correct. Second camera wire begins to run the same way at 125 ft. Each logical Explaining why the cam pciture with fuzzy lines? I thought the wire for the rest of the same, acts like an antenna pick up interference such as power or radio waves. Each suspects? Thanks so much for all your answers, provided the power is right at the camera, no long running power for the cam used only RG59. Cam worked with 24AC and tryed both 12DC Transformer type. I think it is the video speak your ground loops. Thank you!
It sounds like you are getting a lot of loss on the path to lure. You could try to the problem of isolating either camera or coax that by hooking the camera up to a shorter piece. CCTV cameras are not high power devices, so that it sounds like the camera you use to run is a little too long. Coax, but doesn't act like an antenna at all. The reason is that copper in sheilded is supported by a thin insulating and braided ground cable.
